Black Eye from Birth

When I first held Calla after she was born and examined her closely, I noticed her right eye had a broken blood vessel. The nurse told me it was probably from coming through the birth canal, which makes sense to me. Later I also noticed the same eye had a bit of bruising under the eyebrow, in addition to a bright red angel kiss on the eyelid. I assumed her little black-eye was also from being born.

She is almost six weeks old and she still has the black-eye. When will it heal? How long should it be taking? Also, since birth she tends to keep that eye closed more often than the left, peeking around from her left eye. She is doing it less frequently now, but it still happens. I'm getting a bit concerned that something is wrong with her eye. Going to check with the ped at her upcoming appt, just curious if anyone here has any thoughts?
